About Japan Source Signal

Updated 5 October 2026.

Japan Source Signal is an independent personal project created and developed by Brenden Kaaikala using personal time and resources. It helps readers find and understand selected Japanese public-education notices while keeping the official source close at hand. It is not a government service or a recruitment agency.

Find the right kind of notice

From an official source to a saved finding

The project checks selected public sources, records the source and its check date, and organizes the available evidence by notice type and area. Findings retain official links and original Japanese evidence. English reading aids help explain the saved material; missing facts and unread documents remain visible.

The service adds context by separating employment from procurement, explaining recorded conditions, and showing uncertainties that matter when reading a notice. The guide to JET, direct hire and dispatch explains different employment arrangements. The salary and bonuses guide explains why monthly pay, allowances and contract budgets cannot be used interchangeably.

Dates and coverage have limits

A last-checked date records when a source was successfully checked. It is not a guarantee that a vacancy, deadline, payment or condition remains current. The date a page was prepared is a separate publication date. This site displays saved information; opening or reloading it does not scan the official sources.

Coverage is partial. A checked prefecture does not establish that every city was checked, and an empty result does not mean no opportunity exists. Jobs, Contracts, Funding & Support, and Signals & Information have separate coverage. Failed checks and retained older findings are identified where supplied.

Read the evidence before acting

AI-translated titles and AI-assisted English explanations are reading aids, not human-reviewed translations. They can miss context or contain errors. Original Japanese evidence, source links and limitations are provided so that readers can check important details.

Open a finding to read its dates, requirements and evidence, then follow the official source link. The issuing body determines eligibility and accepts applications through its own process. Japan Source Signal does not submit applications or guarantee availability, eligibility, selection or funding.

Read selected Jobs notices and guides or browse the four sections.
